The IX is home to wildlife such as: elk, white tail, mule deer, antelope, mountain lion, bobcats, coyotes and prairie dogs as well as upland game birds such as grouse and pheasant.

Since 2009 the ranch has been working with friend and neighbor Chris Faber of Montana Outfitting Company.  Chris and his staff work closely with IX as well as DNRC and FWP to ensure quality recreational experiences for all those who come to the area.  In 2013 the ranch teamed up with a biologist from Utah to help develop and manage all the ranch’s wildlife species.  Through these efforts the ranch continues to see increases in quality wildlife. 

The ranch also offers recreation opportunities for those who want to enjoy the wide open spaces of Big Sky Country.  A fully furnished 5 bedroom lodge that can sleep up to 10 people, is the perfect home away from home.  Wether its corporate retreats or just a family getaway, the IX is a place to come and get away from it all.  The ranch offers trails for UTV’s and motorcycles as well as biking and hiking.  High speed internet is also available.
