We feel we have the best employees any business could ask for. Rusty Sparks and Todd Amsbaugh, the ranch's two COO's have been with the ranch over 15 years and still continue to exhibit the work ethic that has established their professionalism. Rusty is head of the IX East division which included Eagle Creek, NL, Siefert and BPS. Todd is in charge of IX Main division. The Eagle Creek crew consists of Jason Pfaff - hometown Phoenix, AZ and
Through their efforts both Todd and Rusty have been able to hire exceptional people to join our team. Bryan Miller, who is foreman of the Siefert division, has been with the ranch for more than three years. He and his family are active in many of the ranch activities. Austin Anderson who joined the team in January 2009 is the foreman at the NL division. He survived his first calving season and is learning the ins and outs of ranching on the eastern end of the ranch.
At the Whitcraft, Todd has a great crew. We have what we would consider one of the best cooks in the West and a group of young men who really work well together. Currently we have Tyler Shaw - home town Bronaugh, MO; Tanner Miller - hometown Overland Park, KS; Jason Colclough - hometown Libby, MT; and Chris Calentine - hometown Worden, MT.
The ranch's internship program has been both challenging and rewarding as we see young men and women from around the country all having different backgrounds and experince levels. The internship program has helped our managers become better leaders while improving the opportunities for future employment for the young men and women who participate.
Training and education opportunities exist for all and we continue to seek people who are interested in ranching careers. The IX Ranch is proud of its employees and their commitment to our success.
